About the Course

The Head & Neck Ultrasound Course

A two-day intermediate-level course endorsed by the European Federation of Societies for Ultrasound in Medicine and Biology (EFSUMB) including lectures, demonstrations and supervised hands-on training on models and patients.

At the end of the course, participants will:

  • Know the principles of ultrasound and how to apply ultrasound in clinical use
  • Know about functionalities of the ultrasound machines and how to optimise ultrasound pictures
  • Be able to utilise ultrasound to assess pathology of the Head and Neck
  • Be able to perform fine needle aspiration
  • Know about ultrasound guided radiofrequency therapies
